Lexi convinced me to throw a "friend party" this year and it turned out to be a lot of fun. It was a princess party. All her little friends came dressed up in their gowns and we decorated crowns and wands and danced and played games; and ate cake of course! It was a sad moment for me when it finally came time to cut into our cake creation. Lexi had requested a temple /castle cake so I stayed up late Friday night decorating her cake with the help and inspiration of Adam and my parents who came to town to help us celebrate. We were really excited about the finished product and hope it's what Lexi was dreaming of. Adam, my dad, and my brother Quinten did a wonderful job decorating the front room to look "princessy" and castle-like. I'm so glad for all of their help and we all enjoyed a wonderful weekend having them in town. We might go into withdrawals in the month of June with no scheduled visitors after seeing so much of our families the past couple months. (So if anyone wants to come visit...) Thanks to everyone who helped make the day special for Lexi! No doubt you helped make her feel like a princess! Happy Fourth Birthday Alexis! We sure love you!!!
