Lexi convinced me to throw a "friend party" this year and it turned out to be a lot of fun. It was a princess party. All her little friends came dressed up in their gowns and we decorated crowns and wands and danced and played games; and ate cake of course! It was a sad moment for me when it finally came time to cut into our cake creation. Lexi had requested a temple /castle cake so I stayed up late Friday night decorating her cake with the help and inspiration of Adam and my parents who came to town to help us celebrate. We were really excited about the finished product and hope it's what Lexi was dreaming of. Adam, my dad, and my brother Quinten did a wonderful job decorating the front room to look "princessy" and castle-like. I'm so glad for all of their help and we all enjoyed a wonderful weekend having them in town. We might go into withdrawals in the month of June with no scheduled visitors after seeing so much of our families the past couple months. (So if anyone wants to come visit...) Thanks to everyone who helped make the day special for Lexi! No doubt you helped make her feel like a princess!
This past week, we had the privilege of going down to Newport Beach to meet up with Adam's parents and enjoy some fun in the sun. We had a wonderful week! We enjoyed the beach, the swimming pool, a day at Sea World and even a trip to the temple for Adam and me in between Allie's feedings -what a treat! The temple was beautiful (of course) inside and out! Thanks "Bacca Padry" and "Grandma Quick." We can hardly wait 'till the next time we see you.
Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails, that's what little boys ... AND apparently girls are made of!
I get the shivers just looking at the picture!
Lexi's teacher brought her snake to school this week. Lexi thought it was great. She has also been surprisingly excited about their unit on Dinosaurs. She and "Pee-Wee" have been bathing every day trying to get the toy dinosaurs out of the soap bars Lexi brought home from school.

How our story begins...
Adam and I met and married in South Jordan, Utah. We lived close to home for the first year and a half of our marriage and then headed to Tucson, Arizona for the next three years while Adam attended law school at the Univ. of Arizona. During that time we enjoyed spending two summers in Utah and one in Las Vegas while Adam clerked and then studied for the BAR. Our family grew by two before leaving Tucson as we welcomed first Alexis in 2004 and then Aubrey in 2006. We migrated to Phoenix where we enjoyed a year meeting more new friends and even having some family close by. Adam worked there as a judicial law clerk for a federal court judge. We said a quick and sad farewell to Arizona when a job opportunity presented itself in Fresno, California where we moved in June of 2007. We welcomed Allie to our family in 2008. We loved exploring California and had many great adventures in our three years there. We relocated back near our families and welcomed our fourth daughter, Ambria, to our home in 2010. We look forward each day to the experiences we have in our journey through life.
