Some kind of record

Today we had a little friend come over to play while her mom was at school. Between her and Aubrey I changed seven messy diapers! That has to be some kind of record! How do parents of multiples do it? Besides the accompanying diaper rash that caused it's share of tears, we had a pretty good day. While all three girls (my two and our little friend) were sitting at the counter eating their breakfast this morning, I took a moment to smile and think about the cute little image in front of me... that is my future, and it looked like a lot of girls...adorable ones I might add. I got to have another ultrasound yesterday which confirmed that baby #3 is indeed another little princess. I am really excited about having a third little girl. (Hard to believe I once feared I'd never have any girls -haha) I'm looking forward to more dresses and another chance to figure out how to make cute hair bows! I'm bound to get it right one of these times. Today's fun project for me was making a "nursing apron" (for lack of knowing what else to call it). We went to our neighbor's house for a tutorial and came home and I sewed away while the girls slept peacefully. (I have successfully coordinated their napping schedules -Lucky me!) I now have a "shield of privacy" to wear around my neck when the new little one arrives. I'm getting very anxious to try it out in just a few more months! :)

Splash Mountain

We were excited to discover that Alexis was tall enough to ride Splash Mountain. She didn't know quite what she was in for before she got on but it sure looks like she was having a good time!

"M-I-C-K-E-Y -- M-O-U-S-E!"

We had the privilege of going to Disneyland this past weekend (Thanks Mom and Dad!). What a wonderful trip and such a fantasy land for a three year old! We had beautiful sunny weather and enjoyed all that we were able to see and do. It felt like a dream the morning after. The girls were such troopers all day and looked so cute in their mouse ears. Alexis picked "princess ears" and Aubrey chose pink minnie ears. They loved the rides and ice cream and giving hugs to all the characters we could get a hold of. Adam and I were thrilled to discover that Disneyland was just as fun as we remembered it when we were little. We've noticed in life that there are some things you have such fond memories of but when you try and go back and do them, it's just not the same (like Lagoon or watching your favorite cartoon). Such was not the case with the Magic Kingdom. It's still "the happiest place on earth!"

Just hangin' around... enjoying our Christmas spoils

Back from my sabbatical

Well, it's taken awhile but I'm giving my best effort at getting back into the swing of things (I'm doing such a great job that I didn't even take Lexi to school today -I'm blaming it on the fog.) We spent some time digging our way back away of the holiday hub-bub and have things as much in order as they ever are around the house. I've already used up all my New Years "get lots of cool stuff done" energy, but luckily not before completing a few projects (most of which were behind the scenes things so no one else will be able to appreciate them, but I will since I run the behind the scenes show here so all effort was not in vain. If anyone wants to drop in unannounced, I'd love to show off my closets!) Third trimester exhaustion is beginning to set in. That worries me only because the third trimester just began yesterday for me, but we will persevere. What choice do we have! I'm getting very anxious to meet the new little baby and get more and more anxious the more dreams I have about her birth! Hope the New Year finds you all healthy, happy, and well.

Holiday fun in Utah!
